I can't believe good-hearted Chirtians will use God to make their bigotry seem justifiable. It's blasphemy! This is the way Archie Bunker condemned blacks and women. Less than 4% of the world lives in a place where people can freely marry among themselves, and 0% of that is here in Indiana. It's truly embarrassing.

Have high expectations for "The New Normal" this fall. Hope it'll be as ground-breaking (and as good) as "Will & Grace" was.

Ok seriously, everyone else gets the pleasure of marrying who they love. Yet we don't get to? It's not right. Just because we love someone of the same sex doesn't make us a bad or "sinful" person.  It is only right and fair to let people be themselves, it's not effecting anyone else so just let us love <3

  3. lezbo says:

how is it fair that laws back then were changed for colored poeple to have the same rights as white people…..but so u all say gays dont have rights and its purely out of ignorance due to judgement of orientation.

    • YOU'RE AN IDIOT says:

What is all this "against God's law" shit? first of all, he probably doesn't even fucking exist. And, even if he does, not everyone believes in the Christian God. All of you who keep preaching this shit, have you even ever read the bible or do you just wipe your asses with the pages and absorb the ignorant parts?

jeanette, it's the 21st century, so I don't know where your head is. Gay marriage is just wrong, you guys don't love each other. You're doing it because its the "new movement" that clearly no one gives a fuck about!

    • American says:

What "new movement"? Homosexuality goes all the way back to King David, the great giant slayer, and even before that! And apparently you're as a straight as a post to say something as stupid as "you guys don't love each other". People like you are going to go down in history like the slave owners and those sexist bosses you learn about in school. Hope the next generation gets it right about being equal and unpredjudiced, that it means to all people, even idiots like you.

    Oh, SHOVE IT Julie!!!!
God said that you should love thy neighbor…… And how the FUCK is being gay counterproductive to the societal growth of the country?! It's not like the world will end faster if gays are allowed to marry… Homosexuality is not a damn disease. You can't catch the gay.

  6. Julie says:

Way to go Indiana!  I know that we are a very conservative state by nature, but I for one am proud of the stand we are making in our State's constitution against same-sex marriages. While I don't condemn or despise gays or lebians, I also don't think we need to give them a pat on the back for participating in something that is against God's law and counter-productive to the positive societial growth of our country!

  7. Ronald W. Fruin says:

I hope this remains the law in Indiana

  8. Jeanette Unland says:

Come on Indiana get on board with same sex marriages. This is the 20th century and we would like the same treatment as everybody else. We are people too with LOVE to give to our partners. I have been with my partner for 28 years longer then some male/female marriages.
