Currently, eleven states plus the District of Columbia allow same sex marriage.

New Mexico

New Mexico does not issue Marriage Licenses to same-sex-couples. It is also unclear whether the current State Laws honor same-sex marriages performed in other jurisdictions.

"While we cannot predict how a New Mexico court would rule on this issue, after review of the law in this area, it is our opinion that a same-sex marriage that is valid under the laws of the country or state where it was consummated would likewise be found valid in New Mexico." -Gary K. King Attorney General

I would love to marry my girlfriend in the state that I live in. New Mexico, I really hope you get with it.

  5. gaymarrieg101 says:

yea they should let it be

  6. Gay marriage should be allowed in New Mexico because people have the right to marry and be with who they want. just because some dude doesnt think its right does not mean ALL of New Mexico has to listen to him. just my opinion but if God made man and the churches say that God knows the future well then God would have known that sme men would be gay/ lesbian so why dont we support it?!?!

  7. Leviticus allows things that are against the law and most peoples morals- selling daughters into slavery? Hair cuts? Slaves? I don't think this is a good argument. Can't touch pig-skin? So all football players are going to burn in hell? Come on, be real, move into at least this century. Oh and how can allowing gay marriage put an end to the worlds population? Does allowing gay people to have the same rights, that i'm sure you take for granted – snyder and healy – make you love your partner less so you don't want to have sex? Thought not.

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have
learned a great deal from you, and will try to share your knowledge with as
many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual
lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly
states it to be an abomination. End of debate.

I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the other
specific laws and how to follow them.

    1. Leviticus 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and
female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of
mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you
clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

    2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus
21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

    3. I know that I am not allowed to have contact with a woman while she is
in her period of menstrual cleanliness – Leviticus 15:19-24. The problem is,
how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

    4. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a
pleasing smell for the Lord – Leviticus 1:9. The problem is my neighbors.
They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

    5. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2
clearly states she should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill
    her myself?

    6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an
abomination – Leviticus 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than
homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?

    7. Leviticus 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have
a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my
vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

    8. Most of my male friends get their hair cut, including the hair around
their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by the bible, in
Leviticus 19:27. We should kill them, but how should they die?

    9. I know from Leviticus 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes
me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

    10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Leviticus 19:19 by planting two
different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made
of two different kinds of thread (cotton and polyester blend). He also tends
to curse a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of
getting the whole town together to stone them? – Leviticus 24:10-16.
Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do
with people who sleep with their in-laws? Leviticus 20:14

I know you have studied the bible extensively, so I am confident you can
help. Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and
    unchanging.

@Justin I feel sorry for you, you small, absent minded fool.

  10. Isaiah says:

Yes but just because it says we're an abomination it doesn't say you should hate us u hypocritical Christian see its people like u that will get our country no where we are the home of the FREE not home of the heterosexuals another reason people came over to this country was to believe in a religion or not believe in religion so not everyone in this country has to believe in your hypocritical religion and our founding fathers also wrote the constitution hmmmm… Obviously they must have wanted people to live their lives the way they wanted to that's why they wrote the constitution in the first place plus another thing the constitution says nothing about marriage hell if a state really wanted to the could ban hetero sexual marriage but let me ask u a question would u fight for your right to marry if your state did that I'm guessing u probably would because your not able to marry the person u love and want to spend the rest of your life with so don't come onto this website and preach your religion because I'm sick of hearing people and their religions if it doesn't affect you then just shut your mouth. You disrespectful asshole

  11. Justin Snyder says:

If you read Leviticus in the Old Testament, Chapter 20 verse 13, you will see that homosexuality is an abomination. The Bible is the word of God. The founding fathers of the United States Constitution, believed in God. The pledge of allegiance states:
"…and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

It is clear this nation was formed under a belief in obedience to our creator, our God! God has told us that homosexuality is an abomination. It is unnatural and not a design of God. There is not one person on earth who was born from Homosexuality or Homosexual parents. Not one! If homosexuality flourished, children would no longer be born on earth and earth will stop being populated. Earth would fall. Homosexuality is wickedness and again, is stated in the Bible as an abomination. Enforcing non-discrimination of homosexuality in effect allows it to occur. Law enforcement then will begin to arrest individuals for violation of this "so-called discrimination of homosexuals" and good honest heterosexual people will begin to lose their freedom. Families will be broken up and children will not be born to homosexuals. Life on Earth would turn to chaos and confusion.

Please outlaw homosexuality and conform to the laws of God. It is God who created all of us and it is HIS will that will bring peace and prosperity. Wickedness never was happiness and never will be. We must learn to obey our creator as the founding fathers desired.

You are really out of touch with reality

      • Stacey says:

You forgot to quote the rest of Leviticus. This just proves that you are one of those Christians that "Pick" and "Choose" what you believe! You should really not publish something for all to see if you can not back it 100%!

    • Jess says:

Justin though you do say that it is in the Bible have you ever looked at the hebrew Bible instead of the King James Version? The Hebrew Bible does not state that it is an abomination.
