Utah Marriage Laws: What the State Constitution says…
The following marriages are prohibited and declared void:
(1) when there is a husband or wife living, from whom the person marrying has not been divorced;
(2) when the male or female is under 18 years of age unless consent is obtained as provided in Section 30-1-9;
(3) when the male or female is under 14 years of age or, beginning May 3, 1999, when the male or female is under 16 years of age at the time the parties attempt to enter into the marriage; however, exceptions may be made for a person 15 years of age, under conditions set in accordance with Section 30-1-9;
(4) between a divorced person and any person other than the one from whom the divorce was secured until the divorce decree becomes absolute, and, if an appeal is taken, until after the affirmance of the decree; and
(5) between persons of the same sex.Utah Statute 30-1-2

Homosexuality is found in over 450 different species.
Homophobia is only found in one.

I am 14 years of age and my genetic make up says I am a female. Everyday at school I am bullied due to my sexuality. I am bisexual and for my ninth grade year I am going to be transgender, meaning I am going to dress and act like a boy. Come at me. Say the meanest, most shallow and hurtful thing you can to me. I'm not afraid of you. You're a cult. You heard me. Our state is run by the Mormons. Mormonism is a cult. The fact we are run by the Mormons further proves that we religion is the reason we can't have nice things.

Your God created love, did he not? He loves all of us, his children, does he not? Then why would he create two people of the same gender that are meant for each other, then turn around and hate them? Face it, if God is real, he loves homosexuals as much as he loves straight people. Leave us to our RIGHT to love, and keep your religion to yourself.
In case you didn't get that last part, here it is in a simplified term:
Religion is like a penis. It's great to have one, and it's good to be proud of it, but don't whip it out in public, don't rub it in people's faces, and definitely do NOT shove it down anyone's throats, including mine.

If you read Leviticus in the Old Testament, Chapter 20 verse 13, you will see that homosexuality is an abomination. The Bible is the word of God. The founding fathers of the United States Constitution, believed in God. The pledge of allegiance states:
"…and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
It is clear this nation was formed under a belief in obedience to our creator, our God! God has told us that homosexuality is an abomination. It is unnatural and not a design of God. There is not one person on earth who was born from Homosexuality or Homosexual parents. Not one! If homosexuality flourished, children would no longer be born on earth and earth will stop being populated. Earth would fall. Homosexuality is wickedness and again, is stated in the Bible as an abomination. Enforcing non-discrimination of homosexuality in effect allows it to occur. Law enforcement then will begin to arrest individuals for violation of this "so-called discrimination of homosexuals" and good honest heterosexual people will begin to lose their freedom. Families will be broken up and children will not be born to homosexuals. Life on Earth would turn to chaos and confusion.
Please outlaw homosexuality and conform to the laws of God. It is God who created all of us and it is HIS will that will bring peace and prosperity. Wickedness never was happiness and never will be. We must learn to obey our creator as the founding fathers desired.
It sickens me that I live in this state that has so much prejudice against the gay community. It's truly revolting. They pretend to ignore that poligamy still occurs within their state, a lot of time with young girls under 18, but the idea of even allowing a civil union disgusts them. They disgust me.
