I think this is unfair. I'm heterosexual, but can't people see how cruel they're being? Love is love. A lot of people were just born how they were – what's so wrong with loving someone in the same gender? I'm Christian, but I also believe in evolution. If God is all-loving, how could he be so unjust to people who were born loving the people of their same gender? How would you feel if heterosexuality was the equal of homosexuality or bisexuality? Would you just suffer and fake it your entire life? We should be accepting. We're all humans, after all. No one is born better than anyone else.
Wisconsin, although bans gay marriage, has a domestic partnership registry signed into law in 2009. The registry provides 43 rights to same-sex couples as opposed to 1,138 rights granted by federal law. Wisconsin was the first state in the mid-west to have any form of a domestic partnership registry granting rights to same-sex couples. Personally, I expect Wisconsin to legalize gay marriage sometime within the next five years, and I would be very, very surprised if it took longer than that- keeping in mind that Wisconsin was the first state in the nation to protect gays and lesbians against employment discrimination, and the first state with a constitutional ban against "substantially similar statuses comparable to marriage" and yet provide a limited domestic partnership registry.
With all these people being sexually assaulted by priests in Wisconsin, do we really want a state run by the church?
The main page for Wisconsin is incorrect. The state has a ban on civil unions as of 2006.
Since the beginning of time God created one man and one woman,if he wanted to he could have created two men or two women…He chose to do this so man would have a helpmeet and not be alone. We have taken out the ten commandments…there is no fear of God before their eyes. What happened with sodem and gomorah? Is not this History also? Do our childern and we ourselves know a moral law of what is right and what is wrong? It is so sad it breaks the heart of Jesus..Don't you think if we grant this right of one gender to the same gender we will have human gender marrying beast next? This could get more unraveled as time goes by??????? We need the word of God..not just the words of the created. There is always hope in him
